CFSP Customs Warehousing Webinar, 13th September, 11am-12noon

June 14, 2021

Since 1st January and the end of the EU Transition period, there has been a huge increase in demand for Customs Warehouses; facilities in which to store imported goods without payment of import duties.  Now that duty is payable on goods imported into the UK for distribution into Europe, where they will be taxed again, there is much interest in storing them tax free in the UK to avoid the double duty charge.

But how do you set up a Customs Warehouse?  What authorisations do you need?  Is it difficult to operate? How does the HMRC approve your business?

These are just some of the questions that our members ask UKWA.   So, we have arranged for HMRC to provide a walk through of the approval process in a webinar to be held on 13th September, where you can ask HMRC directly any questions that you have about the requirements.

All the documents will be available after the event, as well as answers to questions raised in the form of an FAQ document

To join on Teams, please contact UKWA.
