Last Mile Conference 16th November 2021
November 10, 2021
The inaugural London and South East Manufacturing, Industrial & Logistics Conference (LAST MILE) conference takes place on 16th November at the Postal Museum.
Debate will focus on urban dynamics, sustainability targets, perceptions and the latest opportunities and challenges the sector faces.
UKWA CEO Clare Bottle will be joining a panel session: ‘Understanding occupiers and the future workspace’ which takes place 11:15 – 12:15.
The session will examine: How will industrial, logistics and manufacturing space be used in the next five years? And the next twenty? With technology moving forward at pace, and as employees come to expect and desire more from their place of work, how do industrial and logistics workspaces need to adapt and transform to meet the requirements of tomorrow? What will be needed not just in the building but also in the surrounding area to attract occupiers and their employees? Which sub-sectors are growing and how can the sector support smaller start-ups?
