Global Lifting Awareness Day (GLAD), 7th July 2022

GLAD is a day when interested associations, including UKWA, and others unite to share material that promotes safe and high quality load lifting, protecting against accident, injury and even fatality.
It is designed to attract new recruits into the sector through showcasing entrance pathways as well as career opportunities, celebrate innovations and remarkable work, as well as raising awareness amongst stakeholders and legislators who often forget about the importance of lifting and working at height
Anyone with an interest in lifting and working at height can contribute.

We partnered with Europa Worldwide for Global Lifting Awareness Day to promote the issue of safety of all types of trucks.
GLAD is an opportunity for the industry to unite and promote, and share information on safe and high-quality load lifting. To show support, the Europa Warehouse team wanted to do something extra special to spread the word!
