Suffolk New College to deliver UKWA Warehouse Manager CPC course

Suffolk New College will be the first regional institution to deliver UKWA’s Warehouse Manager CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) Level 3 course, supported by the Freeport East Skills Escalator project, with funding from the Freeport East Skills and Innovation Fund.

The funding means that the first twelve places are available with 50% reduction in fees for businesses or individuals operating or living within the Freeport East geography.

The first course at Suffolk New College will start on 1 September, offering warehousing professionals in the area the opportunity to advance their careers in one of the UK’s most vital and fast-evolving sectors.

Learners will learn from experienced tutors with real-world insight, build the skills to manage modern, efficient warehouse operations and gain industry-recognised certification.

Clare Bottle, Chief Executive of UKWA said: “This is an exciting first move in the roll out of our industry-leading qualification across the UK. We are delighted that Suffolk New College, an award- winning provider of further education, dedicated to ensuring their learners are equipped with the skills and knowledge most relevant to the industry, will be delivering the UKWA Warehouse Manager Course; and the support from Freeport East Skills and Innovation Fund is bound to prove a highly attractive opportunity both for forward thinking local businesses and ambitious individuals aspiring to leadership roles within our sector!”
