UKWA members get HR advice and practical down-to-earth guidance on employment law at discounted rates.

UKWA offers specially designed insurance packages for members, including competitive premiums and a range of cover options tailored to each company’s specific requirements. Expert advice on insurance matters is also available to members.

• Real Estate Helpline
UKWA members can access legal advice on the practical provisions of existing or new leases, from what the lease covers and who is responsible for what under its terms, to alterations and activities that are permitted and those that are not, as well as dilapidation payments and recourse for defective build.

• Model Lease
UKWA has developed a model lease with legal partners Weightmans and real estate advisors Savills, that provides a basis for a contract, aligned with the RICS Lease Code, that is reasonable and fair from the point of view of both occupier and landlord.
