
UKWA CEO receives Honorary Fellowship

UKWA CEO Peter Ward has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the Institute of Export & International Trade, forty years after he first graduated.
The 2018 Graduation and Prizegiving Ceremony was held at the Mansion House in London on May 23rd, where recent and current students received graduation certificates and Honorary fellowships were presented to three widely respected industry leaders, including UKWA’s Peter Ward, for their career-long contributions to the Institute and the industry.
Commenting on the Award, Lesley Batchelor OBE, Director General of the Institute of Export & International Trade, said: “Peter has been a vocal and powerful advocate for our industry for many years. His long experience and strategic vision has equipped him to provide inspiration and leadership, particularly in these turbulent times. He continues to be a great supporter of IoE and I am delighted that we have been able to recognise his exceptional contribution in this way.”
