UKWA Awards 2018 – finalists announced
May 30, 2018
The 2018 finalists shortlisted for the UKWA Awards have been announced by the Association. The Awards, which recognise and reward excellence in the third party logistics sector, attract entries from some of the most influential companies in the logistics and materials handling industry.
This year finalists include John Lewis Partnership – a founding member of one of UKWA’s new Logistics Users category – and no fewer than six new UKWA members shortlisted for the Best New Member Award.
“This year, the calibre of submissions has been particularly high,” commented Peter Ward, UKWA CEO. “We usually aim to select three finalists for each category, but in this case felt that outstanding candidates should all be recognised for excellence, even though on the night there can be only one winner for each award!”
There are nine Awards categories open to UKWA members and suppliers to the 3PL sector. The overall winner of each, along with a special Chairman’s Award, will be presented with a trophy by leading political broadcaster Andrew Marr at UKWA Annual Lunch & Awards. This flagship event for the Association is sponsored by Savills and will be held at London’s Dorchester on Weds 4th July 2018.
