Three year deal

June 10, 2013

Bibby Distribution has won a three-year contract with Japanese food manufacturer Mizkan, which has seen it open a new 212,000 sq ft warehouse and distribution facility in Corby and employ an additional 100 staff.

Mizkan acquired a number of UK brands throughout 2012/2013, including Sarson’s vinegar, Haywards pickled vegetables and Branston pickle from Premier Foods.

The new deal will involve Bibby managing the complete UK warehousing and distribution needs for the newly acquired brands from the 30,000 pallet-capacity Corby site, which was chosen as the optimum location between their different production points and outbound customer base.
