Lancashire-based conservatory roofing manufacturer, Ultraframe, has awarded Bibby Distribution a five-year contract to manage all aspects of its supply chain, including transport planning and distribution. Every single roof we make is bespoke and comes in a different shape or size, and must be handled with the utmost care. As our sole 3PL provider, we rely on Bibby to help us deliver in all aspects of our distribution process, said Paul Greaves, logistics manager at Ultraframe. Having worked for Ultraframe for seven years, Bibby currently makes between 70 and 80 deliveries a day, around 95 per cent of which are delivered on a next-day basis.
