Positive response to Liverpool conference announcemement

The response to last month’s announcement that UKWA’s Annual Conference 2014 will take place in June in the historic city of Liverpool has been extremely positive – with several key sponsors already pledging their support for the event.

Organised in partnership with Clarion Events (organiser of the highly successful Multimodal exhibition series), the conference takes place at the 5-star Hilton Liverpool over three days – June 10- 12 – and will comprise a first class speaker pro- gramme, technical visits, networking social events and a golf day at the historic Wallasey Golf Club.

The Conference will chart future developments in warehousing strategy, operations and sustain- ability “ for owners, operators and clients alike.

Roger Williams (UKWA’s chief executive officer, commented: Time spent at the UKWA Annual Conference will help you to prepare your business for the challenges of tomorrow, whilst providing valuable face-to-face con- tact to help your business today.

It is anticipated that 250 senior buyers will attend the event and there are various packages available to suit visitors’ personal needs and details of these are available via the UKWA web- site “ www.ukwa.org.uk.

There are also a limited number of exhibition booths and sponsorship opportunities available for companies who wish to promote themselves to the owners and operators of warehouses and distribution centres who are expected to attend the conference.
