New Manchester Depot

March 14, 2013

Impact Handling has opened a new depot in Trafford Park Manchester, dedicated to customer support, sales and short term hire, to meet the needs of local customers.

Since being appointed as the sole distributors of Cat® Lift Trucks in the UK and Ireland in November 2010, Impact Handling has continued to develop its service support. The new depot follows on from the opening of a new customer service centre and storage facility in Corby only last year.

A commitment to service has been the cornerstone of the growth enjoyed by Impact Handling and the new depot is simply part of the push to ensure the best service levels can be delivered locally, wherever customers are.

Steve Kent, Regional Depot Manager is already seeing the benefits of the new service support site. The fact that we now have a facility close to many existing and potential customers is already helping us to improve our service. We pride ourselves on timely, high quality support so being closer really does help.

Investment in these economic times has been possible due to the financial muscle that Eqstra Industrial Equipment, Impact Handling’s parent company, is able to provide. Holding stock of both new equipment and spares is complimented by ready access to used trucks that have been refurbished by Impact Handling’s factory trained engineers.

As well as the complete range of Cat® Lift Trucks, a wide selection of other materials handling equipment and storage solutions from premium manufacturers, make Impact Handling a true one-stop-shop for its customers

The Manchester depot can be contacted on 0161 877 3154, alternatively call the customer service centre on 0800 169 9789, emailsales@impacthandling.co.uk or go to www.impact-handling.co.uk
