New fulfillment centre

Electrical and homeware products distributor RKW has bought the 240,000 sq ft former Royal Doulton and Wedgwood warehouse facility in Staffordshire as a new global fulfillment centre. It is investing £2 million in the warehouse and expects it to be operational by the Spring. Managing Director, Rob Sutton, said the move had been fuelled in part by the rise in online retailing.
