New Apprenticeship Standard for Warehouse Operative approved

June 30, 2016

The level 2 Warehouse Operative standard has been approved and can be used from July 11th 2016.

To employ apprentices at this level, businesses will have to use this standard going forward and will be able to take advantage of available funding under the Trailblazer rules.

The quality and relevance of the new standards, which will be rolled out in April 2017, is guaranteed by the fact that they are developed by employers, not by government. Therefore representation and participation by businesses is essential.

UKWA is therefore urging members to become involved in developing and supporting these same standards that they will have to work with. Accordingly the Association will welcome your feedback and input.
