January 31, 2014
FreightSafe are new Members to UKWA, we have been running successfully for 18 years in Sydney, Australia and South Africa and we are delighted to bring FreightSafe to the UK. The FreightSafe warranty program has solved a range of issues over the years in managing freight damages and losses. Its positive outcome is both financial and operationally beneficial for logistics companies, and it offers participating customers a solid solution when things happen to go wrong.
The FreightSafe Warranty program is an outsourced value added service targeted at medium and large Logistic Providers. Our Warranty Program is a valuable tool to any logistics providers’ business whose customer base has a large proportion of small spend customers.
Our aim is to help logistic providers retain your customers, whilst protecting your bottom line.
The way it works is Logistics Providers charge their customers a nominal fee on every consignment they send which builds up reserve funding, this fund belongs to the Logistics provider and the funds are available to:
- To pay customers claims

- To spend at the discretion of management.
Benefits
- A New Bottom Line Revenue
