House of Lords event

In conjunction with materials handling specialist Jungheinrich UK Ltd, UKWA recently held a networking event at the House of Lords. The event was attended by representatives from over 50 UKWA member companies and suppliers to the industry, together with Lord Brabazon, Lord Atlee, Lord Brian Davies, Lord Tony Berkeley and MPs Andrew Bridgen, Adrian Bailey, Jim Fitzpatrick and David TC Davies. During a welcoming address, UKWA’s chief executive officer, Roger Williams, drew guests attention to an important excise issue that UKWA is currently addressing on behalf of members – the downstream oil supply in the UK.
