Kuehne and Nagel is to build a 632,285 sq ft distribution centre at the 165 acre Derby Commercial Park which is located to the north of the A6 Alvaston Bypass. The £45 million facility will help service a contract the company has with Heineken. The warehouse will have 100 loading docks, parking for 164 lorries and a vehicle maintenance unit. There will also be a three-storey office block for admin staff and parking for 268 cars.
