May 9, 2013

Unipart has been awarded a £1.3 million grant for advanced technologies at its Coventry site, which will create 90 new jobs. Local government minister Mark Prisk MP met employees at the site to make the announcement that the company has received the grant as part of the government’s Growing Places fund. Receiving this additional funding will mean we can accelerate our plans quickly and invest in technology and the skills of people from Coventry and Warwickshire to add to the area’s manufacturing reputation, said Unipart Manufacturing Group’s managing director, Carol Burke.
