Bumper Multimodal for UKWA

Read full report>

This year, UKWA hosted Day One of the Multimodal Seminar Programme at the industry’s flagship event, which attracted some 9,500 attendees.

In the seminar theatre, there was standing room only as visitors packed in to hear the latest insights, expert advice and lively discussions moderated by UKWA CEO Peter Ward, from a distinguished line-up of speakers.

Topics ranged from the emergence of nationalism and the impact on globalisation to the march towards world domination with the launch of Amazon Business in the UK by the self-proclaimed world’s most customer centric online retailer.

Summing up, Peter Ward said that feedback from those attending the UKWA seminars had been extremely positive. An important part of our role as the trade association for the logistics industry is to provide thought leadership and expert insight into the key issues affecting our membership – and the wider business community. Multimodal gave us a great platform this year to reach out to an audience hungry for information and demonstrate the true value of UKWA membership.
