Alternative Logic signs Dakota as Alliance Partner to help Enterprise companies realise the benefits of Mobile Working for Field Based operatives

Dakota Integrated Solutions, the specialist Manchester based IT Solutions and Managed Services Provider, is pleased to announce that it has been nominated Alternative Logic’s UK Alliance Partner for all hardware and pre/post-sales support requirements for its range of clients.

The FieldLogicTM Mobile Working Solution is a software platform that manages enterprise clients’ remote workforce and tracks everything they do. Each member of the team has a hand“held device which they use to log their hours, location, movements, tasks, and the jobs completed. This innovative technology gives users up“to“the“minute reports on the progress and status of their daily job schedule, removing excessive paperwork and improving customer service.

As many companies are under pressure to reduce costs and overheads in their business processes, FieldLogicTM provides companies with field workers the ability to save administration, back office costs whilst at the same time reduce the risk of errors and fraud. Complementing FieldLogicTM is OfficeLogicTM, the integrated back office platform that allows clients to create, manage and schedule jobs quickly and effectively. Jobs are allocated to the most appropriate operative in real-time, with jobs uploaded on to the system upon completion, capturing signatures alongside other requisite customer infomation.

Commenting on the formal alliance, Robin Borders, Alternative Logic Managing Director stated:

Our FieldLogicTM Mobile Working Solution and complementary OfficeLogicTMback office platform empowers companies with modern Proof of Delivery and Task Management capabilities, providing quick returns on investment and hugely improved business processes. Customer service is also enhanced considerably, all of which are key factors in why so many companies are looking to deploy this type of technology. We are delighted to have signed Dakota Integrated Solutions as Alternative Logic’s UK Alliance Partner and confident that our partnership will open new opportunities for both our companies within the mobile worker space. Dakota has a very strong pedigree in providing a full range of services for clients in the UK and Ireland, and already undertake pre and post-sales support via their Managed Service offering for a number of our customers, such as BSkyB and Bord Gáis. The feedback we have had from our clients who have been utilising Dakota’s services has been overwhelmingly positive. We are also very impressed with their pro-active approach to helping solve client issues quickly and effectively. The technical competencies and enthusiasm of their Sales and Services Teams makes them the perfect partner.

In today’s challenging business climate, partnerships are often referred to in conversations however, from day one of working together, we have genuinely sought to engender a two-way flow of opportunities on both sides between our companies. Dakota has introduced the FieldLogicTM Mobile Working Solution and complementary back office platform OfficeLogicTM to a number of our clients, either existing mobile users or those introduced to this way of working for the first time. All have seen this technology as a breath of fresh air.
