The UKWA are very pleased to support Generation Logistics. Many of you reading this will already be aware of, and perhaps even sponsors of, Generation Logistics, but for those who are unfamiliar, Generation Logistics is a sector-led campaign which promotes logistics careers among young people. Since its launch in mid-August 2022, the campaign has attracted over 1.3 million website hits and over 6.9 million social media engagements.

The reason for writing about Generation Logistics in this policy briefing is because coming up on the 23rd June is Generation Logistics Week. So now is the perfect time to consider getting involved and becoming a Generation Logistics ambassador. Ambassadors are logistics’ tangible presence in schools and colleges, promoting their profession. Generation Logistics has over 350 registered Ambassadors. Ambassadors are only asked to give at least an hour over the academic year to promote and advocate for our sector.
Following and engaging with Generation Logistics on social media is also a great way of getting involved and showing your support.
If you have any questions or would like to consider getting involved with Generation Logistics, please contact generationlogistics@logistics.org.uk .
