UKWA Web Services has been launched to give UKWA members access to high quality, cost-effective websites, along with web education and support services.
UKWA Web Services. Director Louise Cole says: “We believe we are the first web services company to specialise in sites for the logistics sector. We have identified several key obstacles to warehousing and transport companies maximising the sales potential of their websites.
“There is often a lack of strategy and limited understanding as to what the website should be achieving. Companies are also struggling to find agencies who will provide good content management systems, so clients remain dependent upon expensive designers for updates. Alternatively there is no one in-house with the skills or time to update the site. This is why so many warehousing and transport websites are woefully out of date,” she says.
