In November 2010 the United Kingdom Warehousing Association (UKWA) - the trade body that represents the interests of the third party logistics services sector – will publish a Warehousing Services Guide, to be mailed to Directors and Senior Managers of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport [CILT].

The Guide will be an A4-sized publication and will comprise feature-length articles that highlight both the benefits of belonging to the UKWA and, of course, the advantages of using UKWA member companies for a host of outsourced logistics requirements.

The publication will be sent out by direct mail, to a carefully selected list of 2,000 Directors and Senior Managers from the CILT membership list in the Food and Grocery/ FMCG/Retail sectors with logistics and purchasing responsibility.

The Guide therefore, represents an excellent, cost-efficient opportunity for UKWA members to promote details of their business and the services it provides to potential customers in these relatively, buoyant, industry sectors. To further enhance the publication usefulness, it will also be available to download on the new UKWA website for the next 12 months, the website currently attracts nearly 3,000 unique visitors a week.
