"The vast majority of UKWA members who have taken a stand, or part of the UKWA pavilion at Multimodal since it started in 2008, have returned. The reason is self evident. Multimodal is the best trade show for 3PLs to showcase their services; indeed it is the only trade show which caters fully for the 3PL sector. The success of Clarion Events lies in its ability to attract high quality of visitors; to create a relaxed, but focused atmosphere; and to build a show that reflects the high professional standards in the sector.

Each year the UKWA pavilion has sold out, and the number of UKWA member companies taking their own stand has increased. The UKWA pavilion provides added value as a networking area, and acts as a cost effective entry for companies who have not exhibited before. It is, of course an important marketing opportunity for UKWA itself, and attracts most of the Walter House staff and many of the association’s honorary advisers during the three days.

In 2012, UKWA will be taking a pavilion, and I particularly encourage participation from the smaller category of member company to join us. Many of you may feel that your lack of experience in this sort of marketing activity is a deterrent. It shouldn’t be. Clarion Events provide excellent (free)support for the first timer, as indeed does UKWA through its PR consultant.
