UKWA has announced details of its plans to launch a new business mentoring scheme for supply chain executives. “There is plenty of evidence to suggest that business mentoring has a positive effect on a company, whether it is a new start-up or an established organisation,” says Roger Williams, UKWA’s chief executive officer. UKWA’s mentoring team will comprise retired or semi-retired warehouse operators who remain close to the industry. “The service is expected to be particularly welcomed by the owners or MDs of companies – particularly smaller companies - who may not have an obvious and qualified sounding board available to them,” added Roger Williams. If you would like to find out more about UKWA’s logistics business mentoring scheme or would like to offer your services as a mentor, please contact Roger Williams, UKWA’s chief executive officer on (tel) 0207 836 5522.
