News
2nd February
Toyota Material Handling UK has received its SAFEcontractor accreditation
for 2011. SAFEcontractor is a third party accreditation scheme that assesses
your health and safety arrangements and is one of the fastest growing health
and safety accreditation schemes in the UK. The SAFEcontractor scheme has
been designed to take the hassles out of health and safety by helping
customers to manage their list of approved contractors more efficiently and
cost effectively.
Grant Taylor, Quality-Safety Manager at Toyota Material Handling UK said "We
have been involved in the scheme for over ten years and we have found this
scheme to be the most thorough as it assesses not only our health and safety
but also aspects of our quality and environmental management systems. It
covers everything from insurance to accidents, policies to training. Being
involved in the scheme has helped us to provide a quicker and more efficient
response to our customers as the accreditation demonstrates our complete
compliance. Safety is an important part of the Toyota culture and we are
proud to be involved in the SAFEcontractor accreditation scheme".
