Seafield Logistics has been awarded a warehousing and distribution contract with Saga Shipping Company to support the consolidation of products for a cruise ship re-fitment based in Italy. The ship, which consists of 720 room’s will require products ranging from ceiling lights and fabrics to beds and furniture all of which will be stored at the Aylesham depot before being distributed to Italy. A procurement team has been set up to deal with the new fitments for the ship and a small number of telephone orders will be handled by the UK distributor, who will also be responsible for advising on stock receipts and customer service calls.
