Sundog Energy is offering to install solar panels to warehouses for free, taking its fee from the government’s Clean Energy Cashback scheme. The scheme, also known as the feed-in-tariff, pays for every kilowatt hour of electricity produced. The amount paid per hour is determined by the type of technology and the size of the system. Sundog say that these tariffs should cover the initial capital cost of installation and, according to the government, earn a return of up to 8 per cent a year. www.sundog-energy.co.uk
