UPS has opened a dedicated London 2012 logistics centre in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. As the Official Logistics and Express Delivery Supporter of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, UPS has an active role in assisting LOCOG’s preparations. Between now and the opening ceremony on 27th July 2012, UPS will be responsible for delivering 30.0 million items, including one million pieces of sporting equipment.
