The Tamworth-based company, which trades as Minster Logistics, delivers bespoke software solutions to distribution, supply chain and logistics businesses nationwide. Minster Logistics’ software is utilised by Marks and Spencer, Wincanton and Brakes among many others and manages the distribution of products as diverse as food, cleaning materials, stationery and medical equipment. Its voice-enabled modules are used by most clients who report many benefits including a significant increase in the level of productivity in frozen product environments. Phoebus, who relocated to the UK in 2000, has a lengthy record of success in the logistics arena in his native South Africa. The following year he joined Gist at Ocado and later took over responsibility of Gist’s multi-user site in Tamworth. After attaining an MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Cranfield University in 2003, Phoebus went on to established the UK operation of Idrawfast, the world’s largest architectural visualisation company, which he later franchised in Dublin and Paris. Commenting on the acquisition, Mr Van Deventer said: "Minster Logistics attracted my attention with three main strengths; the quality and dedication of the long-serving team, a robust product portfolio and the position of trust we hold with our clients.
