DHL Supply Chain will operate Primark’s new 40,000 sq m distribution centre at Mönchengladbach in north west Germany when it opens in the middle of next year. Built to serve Primark’s growing network of retail stores in Belgium Germany and the Netherlands, the new facility will be used to warehouse and dispatch fashion garments in cartons and will also feature a hanging garment racking and rail transport system. DHL will handle all warehouse based activities together with transport from the logistics centre to the growing number of Primark stores.
