Carlsberg UK has given Norbert Dentressangle a five year contract to handle its primary logistics. From February 2012 Dentressangle will take responsibility for all Carlsberg’s UK primary distribution. This includes managing the flow of materials, such as cans, bottles and kegs, and finished product, into and out of the Carlsberg brewery in Northampton, management of the container yard, involving the receipt, sorting and inspection of empty kegs and management of Carlsberg’s national distribution centre, also in Northampton.  The brewer will continue to distribute its own and other third-party brands to pub and free-trade customers through its own secondary on-trade distribution network.
