UKWA's 2011 Warehousing Futures Conference will take place at the Ramada Hotel, Sutton Coldfield, nr Birmingham on 10-11 October. It will follow a similar format to last year with a networking dinner on the evening of 10t October, which last year attracted 100 guests.

Recognising the value of people's time, the cost of attending Warehousing Futures 2011 has been held at 2010 prices with a full delegate package including the networking dinner, overnight accommodation and the full conference including lunch, coffees and delegate information at £220 plus VAT. However, the day delegate rate has been reduced to £120 plus VAT to help UKWA members take advantages of the exhibition and conference if they have not enough time to attend the complete event.

The event is aimed at warehouse owners and their managers, as well as logistics directors and operations directors of warehouse users and this year's theme is Building a Stronger Future.

The conference will feature sessions on:

Property leasing, maintenance and rating issues;
Keeping people costs under control;
Ensuring management information is accurate and effective;
Automation as a cost effective solution;
Picking accuracy as a competitive advantage;
Making your forklift truck fleet meet your future needs;
The current thinking on health & safety, security and environmental issues.

In addition to the conference, leading suppliers to the sector will showcase their latest products and services in a networking exhibition environment.
