Presentation by Nick Love on How to save money with Bonded Warehousing.  Nick has worked in the Supply Chain industry for over 11 years - joining RedPrairie from Kingfisher plc. Bonded warehousing offers demonstrable return on investment and yet most companies ignore this proven opportunity to make significant savings – especially in these most difficult of economic conditions.  Nick Love will explain how it is far easier to gain Bonded Warehouse approval than is commonly thought and explodes some popular myths about the supposed difficulties of applying for and running such a facility. As a software solutions provider, RedPrairie offers its Duty Management solution for bonded warehouses and brings over 20 years of experience to any project having never failed to gain HMRC approval for implementation.

Presentation by Andrea Robinson, Business Development Manager at CargoWise, a leading global logistics and supply chain software provider.  Andrea began her career working in the Freight Forwarding and Warehousing sectors, gaining a broad range of experience of the Industry before moving into the Logistics software arena 25 years ago.   Andrea has worked with hundreds of 3PL companies and understands well the current diversity of the industry and the challenges companies face both operationally and financially when implementing new innovation and IT systems for their business. 

 

Logistics service providers are facing increasing pressure to reduce warehouse operating costs and maximise resources.  Andrea will focus on how technology can be used to increase efficiency and automation across the entire distribution network.  She will also highlight some of the considerations when enabling technologies and ROI expectations.
