Following trade discussions at EMCS meetings, Alan Powell, UKWA’s excise duty representative, has set up an EMCS users’ event so that businesses and systems providers can interact both with HMRC and other users about the issues of most interest and concern. This will be an opportunity to participate in Q & As with HMRC and to share experiences with other business users across the tax warehousing sector. The event will be held in Central London at the offices of The Khan Partnership, which is the honorary legal advisor to UKWA on customs and tax matters.
