Honorary advisers

UKWA Members have at their disposal a group of Honorary Advisers covering a broad range of specialist skills. Their services are available to all UKWA members and they can be contacted by telephone or email entirely free of charge.

The impressive list of Honorary Advisers includes specialists in such areas as IT, materials handling, insurance, business matters, security, legal matters, finance, customs & excise, hazardous chemical storage, business ratings and property valuations and the environment.

The UKWA’s Honorary Advisers are happy to give valuable professional guidance and advice not only on warehousing and logistics related matters but also on broader business issues.

The Association also runs a free 24-hour telephone Legal Advisory Service which covers over 40 different subjects such as company and employment legislation, landlord and tenancy agreements, Conditions of Contract, insurance claims, insolvency, etc.
